Just tried #6 and works like a champ. The auto scan of directory is a bonus over the others in my opinion..

just used Audioplay for music samples on my website and I must say, it is perfect for my needs of a unobtrusive on/off audio player. It is also brilliantly simple to use. I highly recommend it.

Some of these are great. If you are using these for your own commercial website you have to watch out. I found a couple that are non-commercial and you really had to dig to find that since not all of them have it clearly marked on their site or include a license file in the download.

is there a audio player for my internet radio station to stream on my website? i have click on’s and want a stand alone flash player on all pages with the station playing on all of them when listeners flip through the pages on the website?

i found MP3 player

I loaded the freeware version of #6 – Free Flash Mp3 Player – onto my site and found out afterwards that it tries to put a tracking cookie on the computer of any visitor to my site. There is NO mention of this ANYWHERE in the documentation. When I contacted the provider, their answer was, I thought, rude. They said if I didn’t want it I should buy the paid version. I don’t mind having their logo or link on my site but I won’t stand for a tracking cookie — no matter how innocent they claim it is.

I tried #6, “Free Flash Mp3 Player” which works really great BUT it reduces the sound quality a *great* deal by some method. It does not load the mp3s 1:1 from the directory and play them. I am waiting to hear back from the developer to see if there is a way to adjust this. If anyone here knows PHP you can look at the code and see what it is doing I bet. Aside from that point it is excellent.
