Any blog or website is basically divided to header, content, sidebar and footer. Among these sections, footer is the most underused and unnoticeable area.

However, you can do a lot of things with your blog footer. For example, recent comments, Flickr photo stream, author bio/list of blog’s authors, blogroll, Twitter updates, contact form and so on. Besides these, you can have your avatar or simply any creative illustration at the blog footer too.
