Highcharts – Pure Javascript Charts Library

Charts and graphs are very important components in order to present your data to the readers. Perhaps our previous post about Javascript Charts Plugins help you in your projects. If none of the plugins or resources meet your requirements, don’t worry. We are going to share another powerful but free Javascript Charting Component to you: Highcharts.

Highcharts is written in pure Javascript and currently it supports line, spline, area, areaspline, column, bar, pie and scatter chart types. Highcharts is compatible with all browsers, and it even support IE6!

Some of Highcharts features are:

  • Support numerous chart types.
  • Configuration is simple via JSON( JavaScript Object Notation) structure.
  • Tooltip to display information for each points and series.
  • Support zooming.
  • Able to load external data.
  • Much much more features.

If you are new to Javascript and want to get started with this library, you can view their documentation and look at the demo application. Oh ya, before i forget, Highcharts is free for non-commercial project and licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 3.0 License.
